Møffenzeef Mødular Møffenrack Due 5/10/2024

This special eurorack case contains mostly modules from Møffenzeef Mødular!  This system is more focused towards creating crunchy, low-bit drum sounds. Please note that the Møffenrack is bulky and heavy (over 17 lbs), and difficult to transport if you arrive by bike.

Cøunt is a comprehensive leader clock and transport module designed for a small drum system. It goes beyond the basic utility module by offering creative and performance-oriented controls   including CV control over tempo and pulse width plus switched control of start/stop, upbeat/downbeat, even/odd time division, and bar/beat time-scaling.

Mitø is a 6 channel trigger sequencer that specializes in swung polyrhythmic patterns. Each channel features an independent mute and clock division control while global parameters affect pulse width and swing (designated by the mitosis image). Lack of time-averaging at the clock input combined with bipolar CV modulation inputs for every continuous parameter allow grooves to expand into experimental realms.

Deviant is a 2 channel stepped random voltage generator. When each channel's "Bang" is triggered (or just channel 1 due to normaled connections), each will output a random voltage within a range set by the CV-modulateable "Top" control for upper bound and "Bottom" control for lower bound. A crude digital-to-analog converter was intentionally chosen because of the inherent noise it injects into the signal - dirty fluctuations which add an organic quality if left untamed by the "Smooth" slew control.

GMØ (Genetically Mødified Øscillator) is a low-fidelity drum module with a digital engine designed to lend character and grittiness to each of its 10 hot-swappable sample "Specimens". It has bipolar CV control over all parameters to dial in a wide range of sounds. With looping switched on, sample startpoint ("Head") and endpoint ("Tail") can be brought together to create a mutant single-cycle VCO.

Muskrat is a filthy, flexible, 8-bit wavetable drum synth. Use CV to specify pitch ("Chew"), phase distortion ("Scratch"), selection from 28 lo-fi waveforms ("Dig"), and decay time ("Tail") as well as whether or not the internal chip is glitched out by turning on the muskrat switch. Signals fed into "Bang" are processed with a time-adjustable envelope follower, allowing this jack to function as both a trigger input and regular VCA control.

Kriket is a simple 4 channel square wave generator for blip bleep percussion. Each channel has an independent pitch offset knob and gate inputs which use pulse width to control note durations ranging from drones to clicks. Its global pitch (designated by the cricket image) can be modulated via continuous CV or repeatedly pinged with triggers up to audio rates for a chirping effect thanks to a vactrol-based design.

Dial-Up is a digital drum module with full CV control that specializes in sounds reminiscent of dial-up modems. Pitch and glitch timbre are unified into a single parameter (designated by the computer image) while "Tail" controls decay time. Like Muskrat, Dial-Up's "Bang" input uses an envelope follower to open the module's VCA, which allows for a wide variety of input signals to precisely control amplitude over time.

MIXZ is an analog mixer for audio, CV, and gate signals. Mixer A has 4 channels with independent gain controls while mixer B has 4 channels with one global gain control. A is normaled into B, creating an 8 channel mixer when output A is left unpatched.

A-310 Headphone Amp is a simple stereo 1/4" headphone output module with LEDs indicating power status. The left input is normaled to behave as a mono input when the right input jack is left unpatched, and both the left and right inputs feature an active multiple for reliably duplicating the input signal.
